There may be an internal leakage in the brake fluid expansion tank (aka brake fluid reservoir). In the rare case of a leak, the filling level sensor might malfunction over a relatively long period of time.
When turning the steering wheel while stationary or when driving on uneven roads; cracking, creaking, or knocking noises may be heard.
While driving on a smooth and/or uneven road, a cracking sound is heard from the rear wheel arch area (highlighted in orange) on either the right or left side.
