Some 2018-2024 Expedition and 2018-2027 Navigator vehicles equipped with a rear seat entertainment system/Lincoln Play may experience various system concerns. Rear seat entertainment systems are not on a controller area network (CAN) and are not supported by the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS). Certain system concerns may be resolved through software updates which will automatically download once each individual monitor is connected to Wi-Fi. Diagnostic support for rear seat entertainment systems is provided by VOXX electronics. If necessary, contact the VOXX Customer Service Department at 1-866-869-7888. If possible, record the device serial number by selecting the gear/Setup icon > Settings > Device and Software > About. Some 2025-2027 Navigator vehicles equipped with multi-contour seats (minor feature code BYBAL) may exhibit a "Seat cannot lock, Do not use" warning message for second row seats without any relevant diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored. The second row seat(s) may also exhibit a rattle noise while driving from one of the seat latches without a warning message. This may be due to one of the power seat latches losing its learned home position. To relearn the home position, start with the seat down and latched. Press and hold the power return button on the seat back for at least 5 seconds. Release the return button. Wait 20 seconds, then confirm proper power pitch and stow operation of the affected seat.
