AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING WARNING LIGHT BLINKING APPLIED SYSTEMS: Vehicles equipped with a lane camera (see Figure 1) SERVICE INFORMATION If the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) warning light or is blinking (but not illuminated steadily) or the customer states it is blinking, and there are no related DTCs, inspect the windshield. A blinking AEB warning light may occur under the following conditions: When contamination or foreign material adhere to the lane camera viewing window on the windshield. When driving while it is snowing or when frost forms on the lane camera viewing window on the windshield. When the lane camera viewing window on the windshield is temporarily fogged up. EXCESSIVE WIND NOISE FROM WINDSHIELD AREA YOU CONFIRM The customer states there is a screeching, humming, buzzing, whistling and/or squealing type wind noise from the windshield/roof area of the vehicle, AND The wind noise is most noticeable at speeds of 50 mph or higher. ACTION Use the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 4 to install two (2) pieces of foam (one on each side) between the windshield molding and the body roof line. Tow Hitch Receiver Installation Dealer Inventory Dealer Announcement: Nissan is now escalating the temporary hold to a dealer inventory quality action to install a tow hitch receiver and trailer tow harness kit on 50 specific model year 2022 Frontier Crew Cab Long Wheelbase vehicles identified in Service Comm. Because of a supplier inventory issue, certain vehicles were manufactured and shipped without a tow hitch. Nissan is preforming a quality action on these vehicles in order to comply with regulatory requirements. Nissan previously adjusted vehicle pricing for removal of the towing receiver hitch prior to shipment. Other MY22 Frontier units that received a credit for tow receiver hitch deletion that are not listed in Service Comm are not subject to Stop Sale and will require no additional action. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory
