The affected vehicles maybe missing an adhesive layer, causing the outer faceplate to detach/separate from the door belt outside weatherstrip molding. If a customer has a validated complaint of a door belt outside weatherstrip detaching and/or separating, replace it and any weatherstrip(s) that have not yet been replaced under warranty (including SA535 or SA578) according to the VIN list and procedure in this TSB.

When diagnosing a vehicle for this condition, check that connectors R02 and R03 are connected in the correct cavities. If these connectors were previously interchanged unintentionally, the sunroof switch will not operate.

PITSTOP: TECHNICAL OPERATIONS: EXTERNAL DAMAGE TO ULTRASONIC SENSOR: This Pitstop provides information related to Parking Distance Warning (PDW) alerts and repairs involving ultrasonic sensors. The PDW system alerts the driver while parking, by calculating distance based on the difference in signal transmission and reception times between the vehicle (ultrasonic sensor) and an object. The membrane film of the ultrasonic sensor is used for object detention and can be damaged by stone chips or foreign substances while driving. Damage to the cover of the ultrasonic sensor can also lead to damage to the internal circuit. As a result of this external damage, the PDW system may not receive the proper signal from the ultrasonic sensor. In some cases, the system may cause a false alarm, no alert, or phantom warnings by a Warning Lamp to be displayed on the cluster. The ultrasonic sensor membrane

TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: SERVICE ACTION: AVN FACTORY RESET THROUGH DEALER MODE (SA640) - This bulletin provides information on accessing the Dealer Mode function on 2025MY Telluride (ON) models equipped with an Audio Video Navigation (AVN) head unit and performing a Dealer Mode Factory Reset. A factory reset is required on certain 2025MY Telluride (ON) vehicles produced between December 2, 2024, and November 17, 2025, as incomplete initialization of the head unit during manufacturing may prevent the telematics system from properly connecting to U.S. networks, resulting in Kia Connect activation issues. Other AVN functions, including rearview camera display, are not affected by this condition.
