Complaint - AIRMATIC fault message in instrument cluster - Compressor inoperative, 40A compressor fuse possibly triggered. - Vehicle level is not adjusted correctly, the vehicle possibly leans at an angle Cause Moisture in the compressor freezes at temperatures below zero and may block the compressor. As a result, the starting current when the compressor starts up is too high. Fuse is triggered Remedy Replace compressor, fuse, and relay. Update software and SCN coding. Please invoice the case using damage code 32671 73. Addition: Unscrew pressure line between compressor and valve block and check for moisture. If there is moisture in the pressure line, it can be assumed that there is also moisture in the AIRMATIC valve block. Replace AIRMATIC valve unit.

Complaint Tailgate opens unintentionally. Cause Accidental or unnoticed activation of the button to open the tailgate on the vehicle key. E.g. when stored in trouser pocket, handbag etc. Remedy As of the 6th generation, the vehicle key can be recoded so that the tailgate no longer opens as a result of a long press on the button, but by double-clicking on the button instead.

Complaint Sliding sunroof panel of panoramic sliding sunroof reversed (temporarily, once, or multiple times) during closing process, without entrapment event. Cause Cause remains open. For analysis, the information from the control unit log of the panoramic roof control unit (TSSR254) is required via a TIPS case. Remedy Further analyses Requirement: The teach-in run for the automatic reversing function of the panoramic roof via XENTRY has still NOT been carried out Please perform the following steps: 1. Create a TIPS case 2. Create control unit log of panoramic roof control unit (TSSR223, A98, PSD) (prerequisite: add-on 25071) and attach to TIPS case Remedy Standardize panoramic roof with diagnostic system and carry out teach-in run for automatic reversing function.

Complaint Traffic Light View is intermittently inoperable after updating the MBUX Multimedia System (A26/17) to E316.5. Cause Previously available MBUX software release. Remedy A new software remedy is currently available. Please update the head unit software to version E329.5 or newer.
