Some 2025 Navigator and 2025-2026 Aviator vehicles equipped with 28 radio speakers (minor feature code IDBBN) may exhibit a no audio/sound condition with no communication with the audio digital signal processing (DSP) module. This may be due to the software in the DSP. To determine if it is a software concern, remove the DSP fuse from the battery junction box (BCMC) (F40 for Aviator or F5 for Navigator). Inspect the fuse for an open and ensure the fuse has proper blade contact. After one minute, reinstall the good fuse. If the concern is still present or a fuse concern is found, continue with normal Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics, Section 415-00 Information and Entertainment System > General Information > Diagnosis and Testing. Some 2025-2026 Aviator vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0103:00:80 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) when a diagnostic self-test is performed. This may be due to a software update delivered via over the air (OTA). If multiple DTCs are present due to other concerns, diagnose those prior to addressing U0103:00:80. If other DTCs are not present, clear DTC U0103:00:80 before following the workshop manual (WSM) DTC diagnostics. If DTC U0103:00:80 does not return after clearing, no further action is required. Return the vehicle to the customer. If DTC U0103:00:80 does return after clearing, proceed with normal diagnostics in the WSM. Ford Engineering is currently developing a software update to resolve this condition. The software update is expected to be released and delivered via OTA in Q2 of 2026. Some 2025-2026 Expedition/Navigator/Explorer/Aviator and 2024-2026 Nautilus vehicles equipped with the Google Maps Navigation System (minor feature code HKCGA) may experience a blank screen for Google Maps or the absence of live traffic data. To correct this condition, refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00 > Diagnosis and Testing > Information and Entertainment System. The WSM has been updated with improved diagnostics for this condition. To confirm whether a vehicle is built with a specific minor feature code, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner of the Professional Technician System (PTS).
Some 2024-2026 Nautilus, 2025-2026 Explorer/Aviator and 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit a concern where during an inbound phone call using CarPlay, the person in the vehicle cannot be heard. This may be due to the software in the accessory protocol interface module (APIM). Replacement or reprogramming of the APIM will not resolve this condition. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a software solution for this condition and will be released via a software update delivered over-the-air (OTA) expected by April 2026. The software will update automatically if vehicle connectivity is enabled in the vehicle settings. Schedule a service visit for customers who have disabled vehicle connectivity or who report that they did not receive the update by May 2026. This TSB supersedes TSB 25-2350 to update the Service Procedure, vehicles affected, and parts list. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit all of the following conditions: * "Steering Assist Fault Service Required" message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) * Reduced steering assist * Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U3008:1B and/or U3009:1B stored in the power steering control module (PSCM) This may be due to the PSCM ground connections.
