Complaint A leak is present in the system; however, it is difficult to locate. Cause On some vehicles, repair connections have been implemented at the compressed-air lines as part of the factory rework. These are wrapped in the wiring harness and are therefore difficult to find and to access Remedy Check air suspension for leaks. If no obvious leaks are found in the system, then prior to replacing the component part, first expose the air lines in the wiring harness and check these for leak tightness.

Complaint The surface-flush door handle sometimes does not retract when the vehicle is locked. It is only after repeated locking operation that the door handle retracts. Cause Motor fault detection (FC B18D96) is triggered in the bearing bracket electronics of the surface-flush door handle (A17/x) during the retracting movement and an adjustment for this cycle is prevented. Remedy Replace bearing bracket of surface-flush door handle.

Complaint When attempting to open the trunk lid or the tailgate, the trunk lock unlocks, but there is no actuation of the trunk control/tailgate control drive unit (M51/3). Cause Faulty microswitch signal at trunk lock. In the event of a problem, the status of the trunk lock (picture 1) does not change during opening/closing of the trunk lid or tailgate. The function of the interior trunk release is not affected. Replace trunk lock (A85/5)

Complaint The customer may have one or more of the following complaints: Toll system inoperative. The system cannot be activated. The toll system cannot log into the payment system provider. The required toll service app is unavailable The message "service currently not available" is displayed after selecting the "Toll Service" app Cause The serial number of the toll transponder is not stored in VeDoc. Without the serial number, the system cannot log into the provider. Remedy Perform initial start-up of the Toll System control unit (A50/6) using XENTRY Diagnosis. After initial start-up, the serial number of the control unit is back-documented in VeDoc. Data synchronization is then carried out between the VeDoc data and the system provider.
