AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING WARNING LIGHT BLINKING APPLIED SYSTEMS: Vehicles equipped with a lane camera (see Figure 1) SERVICE INFORMATION If the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) warning light or is blinking (but not illuminated steadily) or the customer states it is blinking, and there are no related DTCs, inspect the windshield. A blinking AEB warning light may occur under the following conditions: When contamination or foreign material adhere to the lane camera viewing window on the windshield. EXCESSIVE WIND NOISE FROM WINDSHIELD AREA YOU CONFIRM The customer states there is a screeching, humming, buzzing, whistling and/or squealing type wind noise from the windshield/roof area of the vehicle, AND The wind noise is most noticeable at speeds of 50 mph or higher. ACTION Use the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 4 to install two (2) pieces of foam (one on each side) between the windshield molding and the body roof line.
