The California Air Resources Board has determined that certain 2025 model year Genesis GV80 and 2025 model year Genesis GV80 Coupe vehicles may be releasing air pollutants which exceed Federal and California standards. Genesis has become aware that some vehicles may NOT experience a warning lamp illumination related to the fuel level sensor circuit. Your Genesis retailer is conducting a service campaign to update the Engine Control Module (ECM) to improve the Fuel Level Sensor Logic.
Some GV80 (JX1) vehicles may exhibit a rubbing/dragging noise when rotating the steering wheel due to a misaligned clock spring. Airbag operation is not affected. Follow the procedure in this TSB to inspect and, if necessary, replace the multifunction switch.
